The light at the end of the tunnel was an autumnal glow. The most colourful season of the year getting underway in Portsmouth. One of the squirrels comes out to play. The blue sky and contrasting colour was soon to end. Just a few of the many birds that live in the aviary in Victoria Park. heading out towards Edinburgh Road as the leaves start to fall. HMS orlando memorial, from the days when we had an empire. Another one of the many memorials and reminders of our history. I am lucky to live in a city with so much history and photographic highlights.

We got caught in the rain on the monday and while Sue took shelter from the rain I couldn't resist some 'splash' shots. The day started ok so I was dressed in t-shirt and shorts for this shot, and this deluge continued for several hours. The rails are already under an inch of water but the trams were still running. ]]> Tue Aug 4 2009 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' in Portsmouth, July 30th 2009. http://matthew-taylor.fotopic.net/c1734263.html Just a few minutes after I finished work 70013 worked through Fratton heading to Portsmouth Harbour, an hour later I was heading out for a wedding photography shoot and I noticed the empty stock running back to Fratton so I followed it down Canal Walk and over Fratton Bridge to grab some 'Full Sun' shots before jumping on 1P46 to do some commercial work. Friday 31 July 2009: Just a few minutes after I finished work 70013 worked through Fratton heading to Portsmouth Harbour, an hour later I was heading out for a wedding photography shoot and I noticed the empty stock running back to Fratton so I followed it down Canal Walk and over Fratton Bridge to grab some 'Full Sun' shots before jumping on 1P46 to do some commercial work.
